Other payment methods
Paying with GCash on Binance, Bybit and OKX P2P
Binance's P2P User Transaction Policy says the GCash account you pay from must carry the exact name verified on your Binance profile. Paying from an account that is not in your verified name suspends P2P for at least seven days, and if a dispute shows the buyer used another person's payment details, the buyer bears the loss alone. The policy also discourages rails that do not show the payer's name to the seller, and gives the seller 15 minutes to release the USDT after confirming the full amount has arrived.
Bybit's buyer guide repeats the name rule: a mismatch can get the account suspended and lose the buyer the payment, because the seller is entitled to refuse to release the coins. Some orders require a payment receipt before Confirm Payment can be clicked, and if the coins are not released 10 minutes after you pay, Need Help opens an appeal. OKX's rules say a payment provider's charge is not taken out of the order unless both sides agreed so before the trade: the amount sent should already include it.
In GCash itself only Fully Verified accounts can send; a Basic account can only receive. Express Send goes to a GCash number or QR code, and GCash-to-GCash transfers by QR are free. A seller who lists a bank or another e-wallet is paid over InstaPay, at PHP 10 per transfer since 4 July 2026.
Settlement time and limits
What kind of institution GCash is, and its InstaPay route to banks, are covered on the peso page. The caps beneath that were updated on 1 October 2026. A Fully Verified adult may keep up to PHP 1,000,000 in the wallet, take in PHP 1,000,000 a month and spend or send PHP 500,000 a day. A Basic profile is held to a PHP 10,000 balance and PHP 5,000 of incoming money a month. Counters restart on the first day of the following month. A profile can hold up to five accounts, and money received across all of them counts toward one profile limit.
Express Send also counts transfers: 500 outgoing and 500 incoming each month. Past both, an eligible user may be offered Send Money+ at PHP 5 per further send until the monthly reset. InstaPay is usually instant, GCash says, but can take up to two hours when traffic is heavy.
What goes wrong
- Fraud holds. GCash's terms let it suspend an account without a court order on suspicion of fraudulent use and hold the amount under review for up to 30 calendar days, or longer if needed. Proceeds found to be fraudulent are debited and credited to the defrauded user.
- Grounds for suspension. The terms also name use of the account by someone other than its owner, and business use without GCash's permission; its security page warns against people offering to buy or rent accounts.
- Wrong number. Express Send settles in real time; GCash reverses a transfer only when the receiving account is inactive or unused, and otherwise tells you to ask the recipient to send it back. Disputes should be filed within 15 days.
- Scam reports. Reporting a transaction as a scam can put the funds on temporary hold, and GCash warns that a malicious or false report can bring criminal liability under the Anti-Financial Account Scamming Act. Its paid Scam Protection cover excludes any claim relating to cryptocurrency.
- Transfer wording. Bybit's guide says not to write sensitive words such as "BTC/USDT purchase" on a payment reference, as the transfer may fail.

How is the price on this page calculated?
We take the public P2P ads of Binance, OKX, Bybit, Bitget and HTX, keep the ones that can fill the order size, walk them from the best price and average what the order would cost. Bait prices more than 3% better than the median of the top 20, and merchants under 50 orders or below 90% completion, are excluded. Numbers are recomputed every 90 seconds; the methodology page has the full rules.
GCash wallet limit exceeded: how do I fix it?
GCash keeps a service blocked once you hit its limit, until the counter resets on the 1st of the next month or you upgrade the profile. An adult on a Basic profile can raise the wallet limit to PHP 1,000,000 by getting Fully Verified, and there is currently no way to switch back to a lower limit. If the error is about Express Send's monthly transaction count rather than the peso amount, GCash's options are to wait for next month, or to cash in and pay through Bank Transfer. Receiving works the same way: a wallet that has reached its incoming limit takes no more money that month.
My GCash account is on hold. What do I do?
It depends on the profile. A Basic account is usually held because it was not verified within 12 months of registration, which the BSP requires: an empty account is closed, and one with money in it is suspended and charged a PHP 30 maintenance fee each month. GCash lists two ways back to that money: verify the account, or open a new one and request a transfer of the funds. A Fully Verified user should check the inbox and spam folder for an email titled [NOTICE] Account Deactivation; GCash then wants a reply within 24 hours to receive a Quit Claim form, returned notarized within 72 hours. With no such email, contact support.
How do I sell USDT to GCash?
On Binance, OKX or Bybit P2P you post or accept a sell order that lists GCash as the payment method, the buyer sends pesos to your GCash, and you release the USDT. Binance and OKX both require the receiving account to be in the same verified name as your exchange account, and both give you 15 minutes to release once you have confirmed full payment. Binance's scam guidance says not to release because of a screenshot: log in to the wallet itself and confirm the correct amount is there. How much you can take in each month depends on your GCash profile's incoming limit.
